It's for charity!
21 June 2010
I've recently put live a little Wordpress powered microsite for Qoroz, you can find it at http://tour.qoroz.co.uk. Qoroz have provided Alistair Cope with a titanium road bike as he attempts the Great Tour in aid of the Prostate Cancer Charity. It's a very worthy cause, so if you get the chance, have a look at the site and think about donating!
The site itself, although small, was fun to work on and is one a handful of sites I've been working on in Wordpress.
An update? How rare.

Greetings one and all... it's been a while. I've been on a slight hiatus for the last few months, taking a step away from web design to refocus on my work and to follow other interests. But! I'm back now and am currently taking on new projects.
In my abscence I've still managed to keep a tab on latest trends and developments in the web community and have in fact even pushed a couple of new sites out of the door. First up, www.mantratattoo.com I had a lot of fun working on this one, with freedom to express how I felt the studio needed to be represented based on only the slightest of criteria. My thanks go to Mark at Mantra for trusting me to come up with the goods.
Secondly, and not a new site exactly.. more a revamp, a rerub. Team Qoroz 2010: team.qoroz.co.uk. I did a complete rewrite of the site for the 2010 cycling season and gave it a blog type aesthetic, whilst retaining it's individuality from the previous site.
So what next? There's a couple of interesting projects in the pipeline, a redesign of this fair site to put into pixels from the sketches I've made, a redesign of the main qoroz site and that's just for starters..
Busy times.

Since the relaunch of my site nearly a month ago, I've had nothing but positive words landing in my inbox, so thanks all!
With that said, I'm already planning some changes, some improvements in the coming weeks, so don't get too comfy in these surroundings.
The last few months have been spent working on a mammoth site which will hopefully reach it's conclusion towards the end of the month. My biggest project to date as far as development goes and it will be running on the simply superb Expression Engine, so looking forward to that.
On top of that I've also got a few more client projects in the pipeline, including some illustrative work and rebranding of a company plus a few ideas of my own I want to see the light of day.
Exciting but very busy times.
New portfolio site up!
06 Aug 2009
After a hurried few days, what you see before you is v2 of my portfolio site. There are a few chinks in it’s armour (read: bugs) but those will be corrected shortly. It’ll also be populated with more content in the coming days, time allowing.
A few things of note however.. the site uses a lot of subtle progressive enhancements throughout, you’ll likely notice aesthetic differences from each browser, given the current sporadic CSS 3 support.
Yes, I’ve taken the opportunity to include some CSS 3 features, let me know what you think.
